Development

This is the sequel to Cross Gate , a Japanese MMORPG from 2001.  The game was developed by Square Enix and Ponsbic, published by Gamescampus, and directed by Nexon and OnNet USA.  Yousuke Saito was the executive producer, having previously worked on Star Ocean: Until the end of time . [7] The game shares the character style “super-deformed” common in the comic manga .

The game was released in Japan in 2007 after a January beta test with 10,000 people, ending in April and launching in May. [7] In October 2007, Square Enix announced that Nexon would release the game in North America, making a public beta in the first half of 2008, with the release in December 2008 by OnNet.  It was beta tested via the North American publisher OnNet with 5,000 people from July 1 to July 14, 2008.  In 2007, a version for China was under development and it was launched on November 10, 2008 by Shanghai Everstar. Music

Reception

Joystiq leased Concerto Gate for attempting to train a MMORPG the excitement and frustration of the random battle system. [13] In 2009, Game Campus announced that Concerto Gate and five other games would be compatible with the ONE Power-Up Game Card for gaming-related micro-transactions.
